WHAT'S NEW ON MARC'S TECHNICAL PAGES

  • Mains LED revisited - There have been many calls for this circuit to power a flashing LED. Done!

WHAT'S IN THE COOKING POT

  • 2 more articles;

    I had a very interesting email from a "technical headhunter" who has had more success with placing non-degreed individuals in top paying jobs than degreed ones. So what is it about non-degreed individuals that makes them stand above the rest? I'll be exploring his comments, others from a forum I look at on a regular basis, and some of my own experiences.

    Also, what has become very blatant lately is people are extremely scared about telling others about someone they know about e.g. a person approaches them about a problem, they know who can fix it, but do they tell this person about the one who could provide the solution? Not on your life! Has our society become so litigious that we are not prepared to have a little backbone?

  • Economical ways to test Deaf Aid Loops
  • Deaf Aid Loop Tester

We know these last two items have been here for some time but we are still working on them.

WHAT'S BEING CONSIDERED

  • Nothing at present.

COMMENTS

  • Although I am now an independent broad-range electrical/electronics fault investigator and analyst, this website is still very much alive and well and is not going to die. Work will still continue, and we are sincerely hoping to now find even more time to devote to it (but we need to get the consultancy to look after itself first!).

As always, you are welcome to email me
